Stéphanie Ménard, BA

Ms. Ménard is in the final stages of completing a Masters of Arts in Applied Psychology at Laurentian University. Her current thesis research builds upon her undergraduate work, exploring the tip-of-the-tongue phenomenon and cognitive external memory stores. She previously attained a Baccalauréat ès Arts with a specialization in Psychology (with thesis) and a minor in Sociology from Laurentian University. Having completed the majority of her studies in French, she graduated with a bilingual certificate.
Ms. Ménard provides individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults, primarily using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) as her treatment modalities. She is passionate about supporting her clients through life’s challenges and helping them build the skills and confidence to achieve personal growth and emotional well-being. In addition, she conducts psychological assessments, working under the direct supervision of Dr. Mariani.
Outside of her clinical work, Ms. Ménard enjoys maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle. She plays ringette in the community, appreciating the teamwork and connection that come with the sport. Through yoga, she cultivates mindfulness and inner balance. In her downtime, Ms. Ménard enjoys relaxing with puzzles and spending quality time with her cats, who never fail to bring a sense of joy and calm to her day.
